Meet Our Provincial Coordinator in Karnali!

The Provincial Coordinator for TECSES, addressing a group of teachers from Karnali Province

I am Bakhat Bhandari, the Provincial Coordinator for the TECSES project in Karnali Province. I am proud to be working for TECSES, which focuses on strengthening teacher education in Nepal.

Karnali is my home. I grew up here, and this place means a lot to me. Helping to improve education in my own province is something very close to my heart.

To coordinate TECSES in Karnali, we have set up an office in Surkhet. Although the project has only been running for six months, we have already held consultation meetings with teachers, LEU Chiefs, university lecturers from Midwest University and Tribhuvan University, and key officials, including the Minister of Social Development, Directors of PETC and EDD, and Education Division Chiefs of Ministry of Social Development.

In 2025, TECSES will expand to Madhesh and Sudurpaschim Provinces, building on the work started in Karnali. By partnering with schools, teachers, and local communities, we hope to make a lasting, positive impact on education in these regions.

Feel free to reach out to me for any matters related to operations in Karnali. I would be happy to connect and assist!
