Our impact

TECSES will be implemented at the level of both policy and practice.

At policy level, the support is aimed to the development and consolidation pre-service and in-service teacher education in partnership with MoEST and universities.  At the practical level, in provinces, local governments, and schools, TECSES will support quality and inclusive teaching and learning.

TECSES will support the development of pre-service and in-service teacher education by supporting teacher training programs, teaching practices, and teacher management systems to improve the quality of education.

Special attention is paid to equity and inclusion in education throughout the project.

TECSES will operate in Karnali, Sudurpashchim, and Madhesh – regions where learning outcomes are currently low and school dropout rates are high.

Activities will begin in Karnali and roll out to Sudurpashchim and Madhesh by the end of 2025.
