Our impact
TECSES's impact statement is:
"Enhanced quality, relevance and equity of education and improved learning outcomes and participation of all children in education through improved professionalism and pedagogical skills of teachers."
To achieve this, TECSES focuses on strengthening teacher education systems in Nepal by enhancing the professionalism and pedagogical skills of teachers. The project supports the participation of all children in education—especially those who are socially and economically disadvantaged, from marginalized groups, or children with disabilities.
Through collaboration with national and international partners, TECSES aims to build sustainable structures that improve teaching quality and promote equitable learning environments in Nepal.
TECSES works in close alignment with Nepal’s context. Therefore, the project is implemented within the framework of Nepal’s School Education Sector Plan (2022/23–2031/32), specifically aligning with Objectives 1 and 2:
- to ensure equitable access to and participation in a full school education cycle for all children and those with disabilities and economically vulnerable situation and;
- to enhance the quality and relevance of overall school education by ensuring school readiness, foundational learning and quality learning achievements of each child.
